Also there should be a couple of collected story arc's where the kid appeared in too... I know one of them is called "The Rise of Ras Al Ghul" .. the other one is called " Batman and Son" . That should catch everyone up to speed, who is interested.

A newly dressed Batman armed in Punisher Attair is running around, claiming he is Batman,.. ofcourse,.. he is probably Jason Todd, the 2nd Robin.
Tim Drake is constantly trying to convince Dick to be Batman,.. & then Alfred Chimed in too. Saying Gotham needs the Bat,.. & it might as well be him,.. Dick of course ghas no interest in being Batman,.. He doesn't wanna walk in Bruce's shadow.
Gotham is a Complete Mess.. lol.. Black Mask has returned, & wants to pretty much control everything,.. He some how planted bombs inside of Posion Ivy, Killer Croc, ScareCrow, & a few others to do his bidding,.. or they will Die. Penguin & Two-Face are locked in a Giant Turf War,.. & Don't even see Black mask comming..., Black Mask also Blew up Arkam...
Joker is mentioned,.. however has not Shown his face yet..
& Tim dressed up like Batman,.. to go track down this Armored Batman.... CatWoman saw Him,.. & is probably going to figure out whats going on too.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

I agree with Jason...I enjoyed "Battle for the Cowl". The story was interesting, and Daniel is a decent Artist. I'll contine to pick it up.
And tbolt(as for predicable Joe, that's redundant... you already know how much I HATE Quitely!

I don't mind Quietly's art... It's Kinda suped up Tim Sale stuff for me..
But I seriously Disliked his Lois Superwoman Suit... I can't believe DC Direct made a figure of that, over a Secret Six Line.
.. If Quietly got Rid Of Morrision, the Dock Martins on Damian,.. & Crashed the Lady Bug Batmobile into a Tree in the 1st few pages of the Book,.. I might be interested.

...that was Tim? Explains a lot...I re-re-read the book a couple times trying to figure out who the heck this was...Obviously missed something.
As for the rest, I would say it's pretty obvious Dick and Damian are headed off to the Batman and Robin party. I'm guessing Robin/Drake becomes Nightwing, and when Bruce comes back, Dick becomes Red Robin ala Kingdom Come.
And yes, that Batmobile is horrid!!!! I say bring back the 50's bubble top version, or come up with something new that doesnt look like a Viper or Corvette with ghastly batwings glued all over it. There is a Morrison interview at CBR where he mentions that this book plays off of Batman 666 and Quitely is bringing back sound effects!! The article also mentions that the book also has some of the tone of the 66 tv show. Grant doesn't anme names, but does say that its a role reversal where Robin is the bad *** and Bats is pretty easygoing. I think it's funny that if in fact, they are using Damian....but going the 66(Biff,Pow, Bam) route...considering Damian cuts the Heads off of Supervillians!
