And people have the nerve to complain about how complicated the original Crisis was.

Wow that was a long thread. I just wanted to chime in on a few things. One, Bruce I think is at the end of the world not the stone age. The weird ship Lois and Supergirl sent out (not sure what that was or why it was for that matter) is there and I think the guy that dies there is Kamandi. I also feel like there are some great moments in the book like all the people acting as Darseid that was crazy. It was heart breaking when they got Green Arrow. I was down right giddy during that Green Lantern fight with Granny Goodness/Bodika. And I loved it when the Guardians turn to Hal and say something like "Hal Jordan you now have XX hours to save the Earth." it was great! And I loved the old western style Batman Darseid shoot out. It was beautiful and I think it was a fitting death for Bruce but he is clearly not dead at all. Now when it comes to the end and Superman freaking "wishes" for a happy ending so everything is ok. Now that is just bad story telling. And I am with BK 110% everything that is happening in GL and GLC is awesome! I if you are reading that story you will understand this.. I think Hal will become the, not as of yet mentioned, White Lantern and will have control over all colors and will be the only hope against the Black Lanterns! No body takes pot shots at Lubic!Good Journey

I still dig out my original issues of Crisis or the trade paperback quite frequently and marvel at how well it was done. Sure there are flaws, but it's a nice complete story with a cast of 1000s that makes sense WITHOUT having to read any of the cross-overs or second guess what the creators were doing.Think OUTSIDE the Box! I like the idea of the Western Gun Fight between Darkseid & Batman,.. Now since it was pointed out to me,.. & Batman being not in the stone age,.. but at the end of the World. ... Kinda like the Jack Sparrow thing in POTC .., I actually like that,.. I guess I was really not thinking that way. Neat stuff.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

I happen to love Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain wasn't that bad as Superman. At least there was a new Superman show on tv to watch at that time. First one in 40 years.
Regardless of who wrote it, someone mentioned PG earlier in this thread which made me think about it. You have to admit it was kind of stupid to rewrite her origin yet again when it was just "finalized" recently after 20 years of farting around? Why couldn't they just let that be her E2 instead of creating another PG on that E2?
Sounds like good advice. Now where do I apply for a refund?
Yes, it WAS a great FINAL explanation that was just thrown out the window again with the appearance of the 2nd PG on this new E2.
Who does that make our PG now?
Or maybe I'm just getting bent out of shape over nothing?
Interesting theory which makes more sense than the Anthro one I've heard. Seeing as Kamandi is mentioned more than once in FC and was in countdown, too. (or was that 52?)
I'd like to see a new Kamandi series but not another reboot. Continue where the original left off.
On a brighter note:
I see Warlord solicited in the new Previews and it's by Mike Grell!!! So that abomination that DC tried to shove down our throats a couple years ago should be retconned out.

I believe that was a dig at Lois & Clark if I recall some of your previous comments on the show? Although I fail to see the correlation between my liking of that show and the value of my opinion.

To imply that the Muti-Colored Lantern Story, Build up to The Darkest Night , is a Pile, Nonsense, or Poorly Executed ,.. & or everything else you Wrote or intended to write about the Story,.. Based on the fact that Obviously YOU like the Lois & Clark Show,.. Inwhich I feel the Exzact Same way about makes me Question the Value of your Opinion about the Series, as far as , We pretty much may not have the Same interests. & That is MY Opinion.
To me,.. Liking that Show,.. is like saying Clooney & The Nipple Batman Movie was Fantastic ! .. Hell Hue's Superman 3 Was light Yrs ahead of the Show on an Entertainment Value.
That was my Correlation,.. & is My Opinion.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

Gonna have to disagree with you there BK...."Lois and Clark" was infinitely more watchable than "Superman III". Did it jump the shark? Yeah, but Teri Hatcher was HOT so that negates the shark jumping.Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Yeah, Lois & Clark wasn't a bad show. The worst thing it did was the wedding thing, which killed the series and has hobbled the comic book since. Of course, that was the only way to have the couple "hook-up" as the kids say, since showing Superman having pre-marital sex was not an option back then. Look at some of the outcry even now from the kid in Superman Returns.
I was totally in love with Teri Hatcher, a much better choice for Lois Lane than Margot Kidder IMHO. She had the sexiness to go along with the brains & guts needed to attract a Superman.
And the supporting cast was good, esecially Ma & Pa Kent and Perry White. If there was a weak spot it was Dean Cain, I guess, but I think he was chosen more for his look in the suit than his acting ability. Still he made a likeable Clark Kent that wasn't the ultra-klutz...a throwback to the way George Reeves portrayed Kent as well.Comment

The SA also had Nick Cardy, Gil Kane, and Murphy Anderson. That more then makes up for gay pride parade Batman.Comment
