Superman Beyond should have been part of FC and not just a tie-in. FC is hard enough without reading SB.

It doesn't explain Crap About PowerGirl in the series.
1st of All,.. in the Issue 4 about page 10 or so,.. there is a Roster pic of the Hero's ,.. some Have X's with sayings like "Off World" or "Captured" or "Currupted" . PowerGirls Pic is Blank.

& SHE FINALLY did show up, for 3 Panels. .. Not saying anything,.. with Crap written around her.

Good Old Aquaman shows up to,.. For 1 Panel, ridding a Flipp'in Dolphin Hovering over Ocean Master.

So Superman Finally hits the Book Big time,.. Comes Flying in there like he just Snorted a rail of Cocaine , with His LaserBeam's shooting outta His eye's like He just awoke with some Raven Pee-Hard & Had to take care of it real Quick..., I couldn't really even figure out what the Guy was doing,.. until you see the Panel, where he's Holding The Supposive "Batman Corps" ,.. But it didn't even really make sense where he Was,.. Given all the Hero's & Villians the guy Flew Past..., I thought He was standing in front of a few of them,.. Until you start reading issue 7 ,.. then you kinda Know where he is.

Superman shoulda Had a knock out Drag out fight with Darkseid. Instead they or Rather Morrision "Pussified" the Encounter with Nonsense,.. & Superman Ultimately Gets defeated My Mind controled Zombie Shelled Human's until Wally & Barry show up,.. & Defeat DarkSied,.. because they outran Racer, & so Racer killed Darkseid,.. ??? All I scene was a Mexican StandOff.

I'll tell you what was a Bad Arse Superman vs Darksied ShowDown,.. Go watch the Final Episode of JLU . That was Told with Class,.. & Every Comicbook Geek out there Got Giddy over that Battle scene.

Anyone Know What the Hell Hawkman was trying to Do ?
Other than Telling HawkGirl,.. he doesn't care if he Dies, & Pulling some Macho Viking last rights Move,.. I still don't Know what he was doing,.. other than fighting "Whoever" . ... Same with Hawkgirl. It seems the Artist just threw these 2 in the Book,.. just for Cool pics of them Flying,.. their part of this "Story" just seems like pin up some one threw in the Book.

& So The Asian SuperHero's ,.. so What, get defeated,.. & the Wasp/HawkGirl Knock Off Dies,.. or something, because no one could Catch her ????

Ooohhh,.. & Lois just Magically shows up, with a Full bill of Health ??? How long was the Time line in this Series ??? A Few Days ? Hrs? WHat ??? The entire time,.. Hawkman & Hawkgirl are just flying around ?

& Bruce Wayne,.. gets teleported to the Stone Age. Ok. I guess I should be thanking Morrision for Not actually Killing the Batman,.. & Would,.. If I could Actually completely follow the rest of the Abortion Called Crisis.

& Can you Believe,.. Morrison in the Wizard Mag,.. is Dubbed 2 Top writer this Month ???? So Who actually votes on that Nonsense ??? Sounds like the BS BCS Voting Process.

Over All,.. there was points in the Story I did Like,.. However they were so few & far between,.. This series Was Horrible for the Most part. Most of the Build up with characters like,.. Montoya ,.. the Asian/Black Miracle & his Asian JLA Rip-Off's, Golden Age Green Lantern, The Black King, Green Arrow, & Black Canary, Tawny, ... All those little stories in the Series,.. Never came full circle,.. & Most of that, was all pointless to begin with imo.

SO whats next,.. the Crisis aftermath,.. where they are going to explain all that ???? ... Whatever.

All I gotta Say is one Statement..

I actually should've known better than to buy anything Morrison wrote again but he surprised me with the JLA. I mean at least I could follow the story there. I hated Doom Patrol when he took over that. I really tried to like it but it just made no damn freakin sense!
I want to write/comment on quite a few points here but I'm busy at work and will try to later but one thing that bothered me was Power Girl.
They go through all this trouble to try to FINALLY explain her origin, going so far as to finally admit Earth-2 (pre-COIE) did exist and she was the only survivor from that universe. Then they go and make earth-2 again and send her there (Gog) but it's not THE earth-2, it's a new earth-2.

That was confusing and should have been left out. I think Didio was quoted as saying that if DC wanted to bring the Arthur Curry Aquaman back, they could do it in one panel. It's almost as if Morrison was saying, "Well, here you go."
BTW, Aquaman makes a 1 panel cameo early in FC, too.

That story was in Superman Beyond. It should have been in FC and it's part of my problem with FC. Issues 1-6 are a DCU story. Issue 7 comes along and all of a sudden FC becomes a Superman story.

A battle that Superman lost, btw. But, that's a great idea. Go watch that. I didn't think that the final confrontation with Darkseid was "Pussified" at all. The final defeat of Darksied was brilliant. Sure, Darksied's death was as long and drawn out as Paul Ruben's in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but the final blow made it all worth it.

That's part of difficulty in reading FC. Along with everything else, time is also broken.

I do Actually Remember seeing Aquaman in that eairly Panel too... now that it was pointed out to me.

... I guess, when I really think About Crisis,.. for the Most part,.. for the "Final Epic Crisis Battle" .. I am very dissapointed in the Character Selection that was represented in the Book.

And I think that happens when characters are chosen for there symbolism rather then a logical place in the story. If you think about the end of FC, you have the 52 Supermen and the GLC vs. Mandrakk and the vampire Ultraman. So you end up with 52 solar powered warriors (solar = light) fighting alongside another group of warriors that use "light" weapons vs. the ultimate darkness (which is how Mandrakk is described in FC & SB) and his evil tool that has given himself to darkness.

Now people are lumping in stuff Morrison had NOTHING to do with in Final Crisis. The Power Girl Earth 2 stuff was Geoff Johns.
