I think it was me who asked this one awhile back.

But I think I have to go w/ the fab 4 as well, (w/ Julie Newmar as Catwoman), but I also like King Tut, Mr. Freeze (George Sanders), EggHead and The Mad Hatter too.

WEST IS BEST! GO WEST, BAT FANS!

^^^ I actually liked Wallach the best. He seemed to be having the most fun with it. I'd also like to add False Face to the list. He's one that DC could use since there is a False Face in the old Seven Soldiers series that I believe was a Vigilante foe.

Actually there were THREE actors who portrayed Mr. Freeze: 1) George Sanders 2) Otto Preminger 3) Eli Wallach

Of the 3 I prefer Otto Preminger ("WILD!") but George Sanders with his hot and cold sections of his HQ is a close 2nd.

I aree that the "Big Four", with Newmar, were the best....But Gorshin could make you laugh out loud one minute, and scare the crap out of you the next!

    But catwoman is still hotter.

But I was reading a bit on this topic on one of the comic book sites. It seems DC doesn't have the rights to the TV version of the villain, so this will be a brand-new character based on the historical King Tut, with a different alter-ego, different look, and different mo. I was looking forward to his debut, but now not so much.

Frank's take on the Riddler is without equal!* In comics, cartoons & movies (ugh!) the character of the Riddler has been all over the map but but Frank defined the Riddler!

*Of course tho, Julie Newmar as Catwoman was hotter!

The big 4, with Newmar as Catwoman were the best of course. Gorshin all but created the Riddler, and Romero and Meredith nailed the classic comic versions that DC published from the mid 40s through the 60s. Newmar's Catwoman was actually more interesting and sensual than her comic counterpart was usually portrayed by that time. She seemed genuinely disturbed, but in an attractive way of course!

If I had to pick though, I'd go with Gorshin.

Of the made-up villains, I liked the Bookworm best too. King Tut was good, but it was the same storyline over and over. Shame was a lot of fun too. Robertson seemed to be really enjoying himself, playing such a dumb character.

As a kid---I loved watching Gorshin and Romero---dang they were
playing my two favorite Bat-villains---hammed it up and looked great---

Nowadays, the impression I have is "Yeah, yeah----you're both
real wacky guys---but the guy who pulled off REAL character
    of THE BIG THREE...was MEREDITH"

So, yeah, Burgess Meredith by a mile.

The gals as Catwoman were pretty cool too.

Julie Newmar as Catwoman is #1...I wrote to her awhile back and sent her a Catwoman comic book. She signed it for me and sent a Catwoman photo personalized as well!

Gotta give it up for KING TUT though! As sexy goes, he a close second!

For me I am torn between Cesear's Joker, Gorshin's Riddler & Bergie's Penguin... They are really well done for that time period.

As far as hottness goes,.. ofcourse Newmire's Catwoman.
