You'd think they wouldn't be SO greedy for "single character" franchises.

God Forbid they team up more villains and heroes---mixing and matching
    in these Marvel/DC superhero movies---

DareDevil and Punisher together sounds good and those two TOGETHER
might just be as bankable as one "Spidey/Hulk/Iron Man" big gun

Daredevil seriously needs to be rebooted.
don't give em any ideas we already have 3 bad punisher films and an awful dardeveil and a pitiful electra (jennifer garner's looks coulnt save that) lets hope they turn the page and focus somewhere else
      Avengers
      Thor

I don't think they will re release it on dvd (they didn't when the Jane verson came out) and really it is so dated as a B level action movie. Like others said there were LOTS of shoot em up's then many done better. not that I don't own it but I paid 2.99 for it and that's about what it's worth

          The Dolph

I missed Rocky IV, but I did see Universal Soldier. Then I saw Dolph Lundgren as The Punisher. It had potential, but was a victim of the '80's, just like the two Cap movies - and the live-action Spider-Man was - a victim of the '70's. Same with the Doctor Strange movie from back then. I thought the Thomas Jane movie was pretty good.

But how unique is The Punisher compared to Die Hard, or anything that Schwarzenegger/Segal/Van Damme or anybody else is in? I might be able to see Daredevil and/vs. The Punisher against The Kingpin and Bullseye. Now that might be cool to see. I just can't see The Punisher holding his own movie. I agree 110% he's unique among super-heroes, but not among action picture heroes.

Even among Dolph's own work Punisher isn't even a high mark Showdown in Little Tokyo is better (co starring the chairman from iron Chef America)
