I hate Kidder ... to this day when I bring her up I use a rough scratchy voice and say "Do you like pink" ... it gets lots of laughs but kidder just bugs the heck out of me ... Chris was awesome Superman but *** were they thinking with Kidder?????????????/

Does anyone else wish they would've gone with Holly Palance instead? (have you seen the screen tests?)

Of the screen tests included in the Superman movie box sets, I still say Margot had the best chemistry with Chris. Beyond the first movie, I'm not much of a fan. BUT by all accounts Kidder was very angry over Donner's firing, and so her performance may have been half-hearted in much of II since she was uncomfortable with the situation.

Phyllis Coates- One hell of an actress. Gorgeous she played a no nonsense version of Lois in the First season of Superman and had one of the best screams in Hollywood....

I agree. She was a bit to *****y at times, but she was a tough as nails beauty. As for Hatcher and Durance. I just don't consider Lois and Clark or Smallville "real" Superman shows.
