Yes, that opening almost made me cry. A perfect combo of the 60s TV show and the Dick Sprang Batman, my two favorite "pre-modern" interpretations. The Batmobile even made the same sounds as the Barris one!
I loved the rest of the episode too. I liked how Batman was more or less unaffected by Robin's whining, like most parents are when their kids complain of not being treated like adults. It was nice and subtly understated.
A lot of this story was based on Batman #316, and Crazy Quilt's later appearances when he sought revenge on Robin, only to take it out on the brand new kid, Jason Todd (the pre-crisis nice version)!
The Bat-Mite episode looks to be a blast! Two Bat-treats in a row. Then after that, looks like Catwoman shows up in the teaser with Green Arrow, while the bulk of the episode has Batman, Red Tornado and Major Disaster. Seems Tornado makes a young sidekick android for himself, who looks like the Tornado's original red and purple get up.
