Wendy and Marvin, R.I.P. - Or Why I Stopped Reading DC.

Soooo...Geoff Johns introduces Wendy and Marvin from "Superfriends" into the DC Universe as computer experts for "Teen Titans" and apparently, several issues later, has "Wonder Dog" introduced who...no kidding here...SPOILER...turns out to be a demonic puppy who grows huge...rips Marv's throat out and eats Wendy alive.

    How cute. Not.

The greatest obstacles to inner peace are disturbing emotions such as anger, attachment, fear and suspicion, while love and compassion and a sense of universal responsibility are the sources of peace and happiness.” - The Dalai Lama

It's been more than "several issues later" actually since Johns left the book...and it's all gone downhill since his departure. I hung on waaaay too long after Johns left but I'm glad I finally dumped this book about 6 issues ago.

Oh, Good Night! Who could possibly enjoy that or think it is anything other than a confirmation that a seven-year-old girl comes up with better story lines and plot twists when she plays with her Barbies?

Not Winnick...it's Sean McKeever. DiDio though IS the editor on the book.

EWWWW!! That totally SUCKS! Do these comics have ratings or warnings on them? Remember when comics were for kids? *shudder* I think I'll stick to the '73 cartoon!

You know, I'm actually p***** off about this. Are any comic books for children anymore instead of mouth breathing fan boys you rate the awesomeness of any thing they watch or read by how much boobs and blood there are? I'll bet that Wendy (before she was eaten alive) looked like she had breast implants.
