Sorry Tinman,Spidey and Cornelius...hehe EMCE's zombie kit really is worth the price...It totally is....You get 3 bodies,5 heads,2 sets hand/forearms,1 set feet plus clothes......Just a little skill and time and you have a one-of-a-kind GROSS figure. great way to merge the zombie kit into a mummy.
If i had anything to say; the mummy wrappings need some stains..but that's just me.
I still love that gooey zombie with the chest plate. Love that paint job bro.

Thank you....I never really got that good at weathering/rusting models...I was going to try that if the bandages turned out perfect, but alas,not...I used regular triangle gauze but that frays EASILY!! So i decided not to try...'sides, i wanna PLAY with him..i can't stand LOOKING at a toy i cannot mess with...hehe....Wayne

Ya Pat...i could have aged the bandages,i might still do so...I am going to make a few more Mummy's...and zombies...and a custom or two...

seems like someone did it by soaking them in tea to get the aging. Or maybe it was Tanna leaves.

I was planning to do another mummy using a zombie again, maybe i'll try your tea leaves and see...maybe some spray starch to stop that infernal fraying with the gauze i used...

Tomorrow, i'll upload pix of the next one i'm gonna do, and i'll do a test stain on some gauze using tea,coffee and a watered down paint mix.....I'll try 3 pieces and see....Thankz....I wish Doc had a nice Karloff Frank head...

I did a few test stains on the gauze and it appears tea wins...You can vary the shading of it depending how long you leave it in,the strength of the tea itself....i think i'll use the tea, then apply some antique white after its wrapped...
