They look really good as a set! Now all you need to do is get them a Professor Xavier and Magneto and the team would be complete! Excellent work on the customizing work! BTW, an alternate to using markers or paint on the fun foam would be to use black, self adhesive vinyl. If you can find sheets of it (usually at a craft store) it works really well, too!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Those are beautiful, Mega. You did a wonderful job with their costumes and paint jobs.

Classic X-men!!! You nailed 'em and a great pick for subject matter. I gotta ask though, Are those "Famous Covers" 9" figures? I ask because Jean's knee joints dont look like the regular Mego joints

The figures are all 8" Cast A Way and Dr. Mego figures, including Jean.
I prefer the Mego scale for customizing! Although, I am working on a She Hulk custom using a Famous Covers figure. I will post it someday when I figure out how to give her the big hair she had in the FF comics back in the 80's!

This was my FAVORITE period of X-Men, visually.

Never having been a big mutant fan, but if I was to invest, these would be the time period I'd collect comics from.
