    X-Men

I finally finished another team line up. Here are my original X-men with their individual costumes from the late 60's.

    Cyclops:

    Marvel Girl:

    Angel:

    Iceman:

    Beast:

    All together:

I enjoyed putting this team together. Big shout out to Dr. Mego for the awesome new big bodies, they are fantastic for characters like Beast!

Those are some really cool and vibrant customs, dude. I don't remember you submitting any before, but if you did the sewing, that's some fine work. I love the head alterations as well. I do have a suggestion, though. If you are going to use craft foam for belts and buckles, it's best to paint on your details. Markers/sharpies fade on foam, and those belts are taking away from otherwise awesome figures.

Terrific work on a great set of customs. I like muchly.

I hear what you are saying! Except for Beast who I just finished, these figures have been done for awhile. I prefere to use leather and vinyl when possible. However, craft foam does come in handy sometimes! I will have to try painting the foam, I thought that the paint might crack etc, so I have not done that yet.

Buy a small tube of Wondsor and Newton acrylic. It holds it's form well and spreads very smoothly even on rough textured surfaces. I think you'll see much improved results for all your future figures. Again, very nice work.

Cool, that is a great team of figures. A better option that would end up looking great is try contacting Laser Mego to do some emblems for them. He's quick and reasonable on prices.
