Several of the lastest super chicks have been on sale at Big Lots so you may want to check there. Also Tuesday morning :O)

The only bad things about these is that the gloves on Black Canary and Batgirl are painted on. Also they all have superheroine boobs so the fabric has to be reallll stretchy if you want to dress them in any other Barbie clothes. And yes its a new body developed for this line and no you shouldn't peek

You know, I never thought about that. I was worried about having to "augment" a Barbie body to someday make Powergirl. I never opened my Black Canary, so I didn't realize that they had given her bigger boobs. Did they do that with previous waves, like the Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Supergirl, and Poison Ivy dolls?

Edited to add: I noticed that in the first "Barbie and Ken" pic, over Chris' shoulder, there is what looks like the Amalgam comics version of Wonder Woman crossed with Storm.

This is the first time they have done the augmentation. Actually with the last bunch that included Poison Ivy the breasts are a bit smaller because they have a bendier body type. This is especially true of Batgirl.

Yeah, I forgot to take pics of Amazon- I hunted for about a year for a storm from the hasbro line several years ago that I used as my base for her. I thought she was in the pics but I guess I need to update them.

The next project is making a Carrie Kelly Robin using a Skipper sized doll. I am using mego robin clothes but I still need to track down some lime green shorts. I am not looking forward to figuring out how to do her ski jump hair :O)

How outstanding are these!!! - I am glad others see the potential Barbie has for SuperHeroines I especially love love love the version of TV Wonder Girl Drusilla as well as Vixen, Liberty Belle, Phantom Lady and Mary Marvel. Such fun to see how creative people are. Best Wishes Terry
