Which Hawkman fig did you use?

It is one of the newer Hawkman figures, I think it wave 6 of DC Direct. It comes with an arm and if you buy the other figures in the set you can built an ape figure (that's funny, I bought it to build an ape figure, too). I found the figure at Walmart.

Maybe modify a repro Romulan helmet?

I love the poseability of the wings--they are not static and would make for fantastic photos. He needs a frown painted on him though. He looks too happy.

I'll try to figure out how to give him one.

He needs a helmet to go with his outfit.

I wanted to give him helmet, but I didn't have anything that looked right. A flock of flying armed apes, cool.
