Evolution of a flying monkey

I was wondering what the wicked witch's monkeys would look like with an update and the following was born.



The wings are from a DC Direct Hawkman figure, as is the shield.







The body is EMCE, the head is Mego POTA, hands are Mego Chips. The wings are cool, they are mounted on a swivel pin and I used the tunic to try and cover the connection. They came off of the Hawkman figure as one piece and made reattaching them easy.

I love the poseability of the wings--they are not static and would make for fantastic photos. He needs a frown painted on him though. He looks too happy.

Pretty cool. Monkeys are great by themselves, add flying to the mix and its a party!!

I wanted to give him helmet, but I didn't have anything that looked right. A flock of flying armed apes, cool.
