I love Steampunk stuff and though you are working in a different era, the same cool quality is in the concept (and executed perfectly, dude): something familiar taken back in time a bit, but given the technology of the time. When Spidey first hit the scene, he had a web launcher, but as the story has grown, we now accept that his DNA changed and he now can shoot webs as naturally as he breathes.

It's like you are making the pendulum swing back to how it was intended in the shift from the Golden Age to the Silver Age....you know when we went from magic to sci-fi and technical origins. Magic moved to sci-fi and now sci-fi has progressed (and played out) to the point that it is fantasy and once again, magic. Your customs reinterpret "magic" back to technical and I find that cool.
