My painting is a bit more involved--they did these things with markers back then. I would be surprised if the artist who did the village spent more than a day on it. So I'm trying to stay loose.
I'd have to agree. Many moons ago, when I first got out of college, I worked in advertising doing conceptual design. Basically doing marker rendered mock-ups to pitch to clients. Man I miss old-timey hands on design! I sometimes wonder if kids still have to learn about markers in design programs. I doubt it.
I loved the Forbidden zone set when I was a kid, and when I finally got a new one this year I was blown away by the sweet, clearly fast as hell, marker artwork. Two levels of completely different nostalgia in one toy... awesome.
The set looks fantastic Scott, can't wait to see more!
Oh swweeeeet! Very impressive. In the other parts, maybe the council chambers, Zira's lab, Urko's security office, a jail? I dunno. But whatever you fashion for this playset I'm sure will be cool.

'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
