Thanks, all. I really like the hand drawn art on the original Mego sets and wanted to try to push that. I love the thick lines they used on the village.
Check out the reference. My painting is a bit more involved--they did these things with markers back then. I would be surprised if the artist who did the village spent more than a day on it. So I'm trying to stay loose.

I'm envisioning a fairly large set---two levels with two side rooms--all folding into a carry case--so there's lots more art to make, too early to tell when it'd be ready.
