Started on her shoes which aren't screen accurate but this is a sexy shape to me so I am going to take artistic liberties.

This is how the heel will look. I need to clothe her first before I make the heel permanent so I have since removed it. So excited!

I am going to give this one a more dramatic makeup. She looks too natural. I outlined her emblem with gold paint.

Even though she is not finished, as far as client is concerned, she is. She is leaving me without belt, boots, heels. Oh well. Also it is a quickie belt. Buckle is quite sketchy but I wanted to see her almost complete before I send her off.

Wow, you make it sound so easy-you must have a very steady hand & good eyesight (no pun intended)

I'll give it a go, but while I can paint heads pretty well IMO even simple eyes are an issue for me.

    Thanks

The eyes are easy because they are sculpted on. Paint white where the eyeballs are around the iris, let dry. Paint black on top of the iris. Let dry. Paint blue within the iris leaving an outline of black as thin as you can make it. Let dry. Then dot the center of the iris black. Let dry. Paint doll dots to represent reflected light. Paint around the rims of the eyelids and add a small swoop to make "cats eyes" makeup. Let dry. Add black on bottom of upper eye lids and also underneath the eyelids there will be a cavity. Paint that black and let dry. Add gloss on eyes. Boom. You are done.

OK, with that head in hand & looking at your pic in post #20 I see what you did. Thanks you.

Now if you could only teach me how you painted the eyes so perfect I'd be set!

Great thinking, Jessica. Sometimes the best creations come by subtracting...

    Absolutely awesome!

Can you provide some details on how you applied the hair? I didn't fully understand Grimjohn's method way back in post #12. Maybe I'm dense, I dunno.
