I'll want some boots when you're done sir.
The jackets could be a bit darker but I'm going to leave mine the color they are I think. The dress capes "version" will be a cool look.

Yeah,I can hook you up with some boots when I get them done.

How did you DO those boots!?!

I'll take three or four pairs to start!

The're better than most of the boots in that scale that are on the market.

I don't have an Adama yet because I couldn't get past the big noggins on them when they first came out. But since that problem can be fixed I will get him eventually.

Right now i'am just going to go with the basic pilot look for Starbuck and Apollo.

I think micro suede would be a good choice for the cape though, I think that's what the jacket is made of.

Thank you, right now I only have the one left boot which still needs a little tweaking, when I get that how I want it then i'll do the right one, so it will be a little while yet before I have these done.

Plus I still have the helmet to finish.

Can't wait to see this finished.

Excellent boots. I'm really looking forward to the finished product. With the changes you're planning, it'll be much better figures than the factory.

This is going to be what the figures should have been like.

All you had to do was completely change the head, clothes and accessories...

                  Excellent work!

They are banded too tight, so of course.

So if you modified the head, the body, the clothes and the accessories, you had a great figure....

Oh you have no idea how good these figures can get. It's just getting people on board who all want to accomplish the same goal. Awesome start on the boots!

                              Well-chosen IMO.

                              The helmet is stunning.

Regarding the jacket, can't it be improved substantially by re-setting the collar? Tohiro had a detailed thread here about doing just that.

Seeing all this makes me want to give these a chance, if I can invest on members' modifications--I do love classic BSG.

I haven't seen tothiro's thread on the jacket, i'll have to check it out.

Looking at the jacket there seems to be excess material at the collar which sticks straight out, I think carefully trimming off some of that excess material might help some with how the jacket fits.
