This is a real game changer! Those legs look amazing. I've always avoided custom limbs because I'd sculpt one that I'd think looked great then never get a mirrored one to look right. Koodos to you and the boy!!!! and speaking of Sean, he's really come into his own on the custom field. It's great seeing two generations of custom crafters putting out great stuff. I think it would be a great bonus to have another artist under the same roof to challenge, and collaborate with. To steal from huedell... " you rock! "

      (^Hi Ed!)

Those are very cool--I can envision some dino-men to menace my OMBC family in the Lost World.

What about satyr legs as well?
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

thanks folks, and good to see you posting Ed!

I found another benefit to these 3D printed legs - I can re-shape them.
Not having enough foresight during the original sculpting process, I made an error.
The legs are pretty much perpendicular to themselves - straight up and down.
Well, once strung onto a body it looks weird - too close together.
So I broke out the heat gun, laid it on my lap and rotated the leg's kneejoint in the flow of hot air.
In a couple minutes, I could feel them soften a bit and I bent them a tad to increase the space between his feet once strung onto a body.
The leg didn't mis-shape as there is a honeycomb structure on the inside that softened too.
Once I had the shape, I gave it a blast of CO2 from holding a can of compressed air upside down and rock solid in a mere second.

The base of this leg was from my Calibos cloven foot....which it's base was a CTVT leg.
Come to realize the leg was a bit smaller than mego so the hip joint is a bit loose. I could scale it up a bit in the printer software for a better snug fit.
I put this leg onto a FTC body - from their newest figure run, and it goes well within the hip....way too small for that joint.

Only took me a year, but put these custom legs to use.
          Thanks Derek for inspiring!

thanks. I think if I revisit these legs, we're gonna cut em off at the knee so they can be articulated.

I'd buy them whether the knees bend or not!
