Nice work! The first picture I thought you were making a Pope figure then I saw your post and read more into it. Good job! I can tell you love what you're doing!
I play DDO now...But unfortunately, I've only played a solo D&D game module many years ago (and I don't even know if I did it correctly...LOL!). I always wanted to play with a group, but I never got the chance. Thank you for the comments on the figures, WD.

      Love the LJN AD&D figures.

Great looking Ringlerun. Looking forward to seeing your finished Warduke.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Thanks Werewolf, I'm still working on Warduke's head and trying to figure out his weapons situation (oh...And waiting for his belt to arrive).

Did you make that Warduke helmet from a Magneto helmet? That is SO cool! I had a bunch of these figures when I was a kid and your customs took me right back. Great work. They really evoke those toys. Funny, I don't think I knew any of their names.

Dude, your stuff is amazing. I love how vibrant the figures are yet still remaining true to the originals. Awesome work, Dana. Love it.

                      Thank you, Mego Mates.

Gary, you're right, that is a Famous Covers Magneto helmet with Playmobil dragon knight wings added.

Here's how I envision using the Al Bundy head as a head for Zarak (still not sure if it will totally work, but I think it looks good in theory with a bit of image editing)...

Here's an update on Deeth (she's got my Warduke custom's sword and scabbard, she'll probably have to have a sheathed sword anyway, since the female hands can't hold much of anything). Her body and left arm armor is silver vinyl with ribbon and gold fabric accents sewn on (the throat diamond pattern and the hawk at her waist). She still needs weapons, which I'm still putting together...I'm still hating her boots, I wish Doc had the Catwoman boots in brown (I used CTVT brown lady boots under the fabric, which they stopped selling recently)...

I can't get over that head on Deeth. Just beautiful!

I only take part of the credit, Gary...I think I told you that she's a cake-topper doll head and that I repainted the eyebrows and lashes (I've also recently repainted her lips), but thanks. Any suggestions on a better way to do her boots? I really don't like the way they came out.

Anyway, Deeth and Warduke are nearly done, they just need their weapons (and Deeth needs better boots and Dukey needs a bigger chest).

What about upgrading to a He-Man/Motu chest for Warduke? You could probably use ANY figure. I don't know exactly how its done, but I'm sure someone could point you in the right direction.

Deeth's boots don't look too bad to me. They look "rustic".

Maybe I looked at a different cake-topper than you used. I just think the eyes look really nice.

Yeah, I've been considering customizing a He-Man torso for Warduke, I just have to get one or two of them first. There are some pretty detailed instructions here at the Museum on how to customize the torsos and it doesn't look very difficult.
