Hey Folks,

A peek at a Dungeons & Dragons wip. He is on a trek style body and he's got a faux fur beard. His robe is machine-sewed, but the red front section has a hand-stitched gold border and an antique button. He also has wristbands made from gold ribbon..

He was started today and he'll be complete today, I'm currently working on his staff...Whew!

That is one heck of beard on both the character rendering and figure! I have to wonder how practical having a beard that big would be in the midst of a battle though. I mean, technically, couldn't it become sort of like a facial version of a cape. And we all know capes are NOT GOOD!!!

Dana, Your D&D customs are proving that it would have been much cooler if Mego did these figures than the crappy little versions. I think your versions would probable be simular to what Mego would have produced. Very cool, Very Mego!!!

I know they look a bit funny, but I have a lot of work to do yet...I think I need a bigger upper torso for Warduke too.

A minor update, still need to figure out what to do for heads for Peralay and Zarak, but Elkhorn and Warduke (no new photos of them yet) are coming along nicely.

Nice to see some D&Ders in here. You still role play with dice or computers? I know people that still get together with dice and act out the stuff. It's funny to watch but that's the classic part of the game!
Nice work! The first picture I thought you were making a Pope figure then I saw your post and read more into it. Good job! I can tell you love what you're doing!
