The collar would be nice. How sturdy is the material? Perhaps some cloth could be sewn directly on the lip of the opening. Perhaps you should sculpt more Trek creatures and make a series of hand-puppet busts? Make some wood display bases to sell them with.
What I really think would be cool is, if you can do a sturdy rubber sculpt of it, is a Mego scale Horta creature. I think if you could price it close to what the figures retail for; it would be a big seller. I have some ideas about it. PM me if you want some details I think it should have.
