    The Gorn Puppet Project

The first episode I ever saw of Star Trek was "Arena".
I Know the Gorn is a silly rubber suit but I thought . . if only the mask could make more expressions . . . So heres my hand puppet.
I've made three. I had some time fixing the teeth . I was afraid to make hard resin teeth ( did Wah Chang use real alligator teeth?). Because the first thing someone with a alligator hand puppet does is try to "bite" somebody i had to remake tham in rubber.
I'm just not sure about putting the costume neckband on like the original finished mask.( I think it was painted rubber)

    What do YOU think?

( Some pics, of the sculpture, early work, semi finished and the Wah Chang original)

That is incredible! That looks like it should be on a store shelf ready to purchase.

THat's so cool. With a little rescuplting it would be a nead Godzilla puppet, too.

I thought about making a Knickerbocker like stuffed animal with one of the heads.

                    Thanks everybody!

So should I do a neck collar like the original mask or leave it as is?
