I wouldn't worry so much about it. You'll find that to most people Mego=WGSH. Anything else is kinda secondary. I even use the Waltons as my fave "kick arounds."
....but I DO still own a full set....
The CHiPs figures are pretty snazzy. They come with loads of accessories that actually STAY where they're supposed to! Loads of playability too. And they're cheap enough that you can buy a ton and put the uniforms on other figures to build a decent force. (Easiest custom EVER! I used some LJN SWAT heads for the extra guys.)
I hate the bike though. I have one, and they're really blah; especially next to the figures themselves. I've been looking for model kit bikes to use instead, but kits in the right scale are REALLY expensive, and usually come in a zillion pieces. (I hate motorcycle kits....) Found a motor scooter in scale at the dollar store, but it's not the same. (Kromedome was riding it for a while.)
