That is great and although true I will more than likely forget about all of this in two years time. Probably even less. What were we even talking about? Ohh yes.....IF I do happen to remember your infinite words of wisdom I will be sure to stop by a Big Lots in a couple of years to check it out. Until then I think I will try Tarjay while it is still fresh in my mind.

Even with a Dremel tool? If it is that tough to work with then I may just pass on toying with it.

If that is the case then it should be great for Mego customs.

Well that sucks. Glad I'm only using it for customs

Merlyn, I had no trouble sanding it down. What grade of sandpaper did you use? I used a medium grit.
Granted, I'm not using the stuff for fine details. Even for that little mask, it was difficult to get the holes right before it hardened. But I did fill in bubbles in a resin head with pretty good results. I'm going to use it to sculpt a mask with "ears" and see how it turns out.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

I have some on the way, yay! The ad on their website makes it look incredible, but I'm told it just doesn't hold up to their promises. Still, it will be fun to try it. Thanks again Del.

I'll have to double check my local sorry excuse for a Wal-Mart but I think
they carry it in the store. They have a section of "as seen on tv" stuff
                        near the register lanes.

I still haven't had a chance to try this stuff with a push mold, but I did find another use for it, since it's not great for detailed sculpts. I used it to fix a bunch of my DC Direct figures. The kneeand elbow pins on a few broke, and I replaced them with small dowlings cut to size. To keep the new pins in place, I took a tiny blob of Mighty Putty on the outside of the joint and smoothed it down. Once it was dry, it made the pins stay put while still allowing the inside of the joint to move freely. It sanded down pretty well and looked pretty good when painted. On one of the bigger characters with a broken leg, the area didn't want to hold with superglue. So I drilled a small hole and put in another cut-down dowling in. I drilled a matching hole on the other side for the other end of the dowling. I used putty to hold it all in place, because the superglue kept slipping. It holds very solid now.

I've seen it at a couple of different Wal-Marts. It's $9.99. I even saw it at a local grocery store but it cost more there. Hope this helps.
