Actually when I look at Ming, I see a little bit of mirror Spock, but taking a closer look, I can see why there's a bit of Connery too.

Now, every time I look at Ming, I see Sean Connery...

It's the acetone effect to the eyebrows. One looks raised. Connery's always had a smart-arse look to it, going back to From Russia...where Nimoy's was more inquisitive.

That's what I'm seeing. Slightly altering the beard and adding hair and it's almost exact, in my eyes.

Zarkov just hit the acetone at 9:45 am Pacific time. As soon as it touched the acetone, the paint washed off. So, Ming kept his paint, but shrank very little, and his skin has a rough texture now. Jon, on the other hand, shrunk super nice, but lost his paint. His head looks perfect size now for the body he came on. Now I need another Jon to compare side-by-side. I'm hoping Zarkov is cooperative and shrinks without skin problems.

After only an hour, Zarkov has almost completely lost his neck plug and has a slit in his throat from one ear to past the other ear up the back of his head. He also has a hole in his face at one of his jowls. What a total loss and a shame. Now the head is totally worthless...
It just keeps getting worse by the minute, falling apart.

Just shows how unpredictable the heads are to shrink in acetone. Some work great, and some are garbage. I've had more success over the years than failures. But this three different results with three heads is strange. Some heads soak in the acetone overnight, and keep their paint and shrink beautifully. Some touch the acetone and that's the end for them, instant garbage.

Jon's head shrunk to the perfect size. Too bad it didn't keep the paint intact. Now Ponch needs a shrinking session.

You know, I've always hated the CHiPs figures because of the heads. But shrunken smaller and without paint, I see a little more of Wilcox in the sculpt.
