I've lost the ability to dye bodysuits!

I've added acetone. I've used a heck of a lot of dye. Certain materials are resisting the dye, like there is no tomorrow. CTVT Fonzie jacket got pleather rot. After removing plastic coating, I dyed it black with this latest batch. Came out fantastic. One Denim white shirt came out almost completely black. One white shirt and long labcoat are only medium grey. Both purple pants appear to have a color similar of the original Mego Batman grey/purple bodysuit.Comment

Update: the calligraphy ink will indeed dye the suit, but it dries rock-hard. I had to wet the suit to get it on the body. I stood him up in the garage to dry. So far, I've spent $10 trying to dye a $3 body suit. From now on I'll just buy the suits colored and save myself a ton of grief.Comment
