I recently purchased the Larry Hagman "Dallas" 12'' figure from FTC, i'm making a Major Nelson custom (My daughter has a 1/6 Jeannie waiting for him ). I've noticed that on their 12'' bodies the arm attachment (rotor cuff area) utilizes an effective method for arm movement. I'm wondering if FTC will ever convert their 8'' bodies to have the same arms as their 12'' counterparts....This will make for better poseability.....my 2 cents. Incidentally, the kids and i are loving the new type "S" body from Zica/Cat.

^ I believe it is slotted, like the vintage 7" Lion Rock & 10" Flash Gordon bodies.

FTC should really add this armature to their other figures IMO.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Here's some pictures of my Larry Hagman's arm attachment with better movement. However, upon further review i noticed that his legs and torso were tightly put together (via rubberbands) at the China factory.....making it hard to pose. I'll be re-stringing him (i have 30 years experience of re-stringing these thingies).

The arms on the 8inch Evel are exactly the same.

That's good to know. Perhaps....FTC will do the same for their upcoming 66 Batman and DC line.

And on the 8" Kiss figures from Series 2 and 3...

Hmm. I wonder why they aren't using these across the board--because the ReMegos are "retro"?

I'm guessing they are using these on the Batman 66 figures, judging by the way Robin's arms are posed in this pic:

FTC should really consider making this standard--it is an improvement & would alleviate many complaints about breakage.

On the CTVT bodies I usually adjust the hook on the arms with a pair of needle nose pliers to add or subtract a little tension and loosen or tighten things up. Sometimes just bending the legs a bit will loosen the bands up
