I thought I'd give my opinion on the hair (which of course means nothing as it's your creation and a cool one at that!)

Myself, if I had sculpting skills, I'd put the hair directly on the figure's head and just have a removable helmet. I'm sure that you could easily create a helmet that would fit on his head without looking too big and without having it look like he has "hat hair".

I have a question for you though: Will you be selling casts of the Ursus head when you're completed with him?

In reply, to point one... I think you are right. I was re-watching Beneath the POTA last night, and Ursus has a pretty roomy helmet. So I am doing regular hair/ removable helmet.

I would love to sell casts of him. I am however, not the worlds greatest resin caster. I am going to mold and do some tests casts. If they suck I may try to find someone to cast them that is good at (and enjoys) that sort of thing.
