Not quite OT for here, but I figured the type of knowledge I need is concentrated in the customs-related forums
I pulled out a a costume for Halloween (pics will be posted, I promise) and found that the black vinyl of the costume jacket (fake leather jacket) got pushed up against an item with silver spray paint, and the jacket now has silver spots and marks all over the back and on the backs of the sleeves. Best suggestions for getting it off? I'm afraid to just start using acetone or something in case it starts eating the jacket. Is covering it up with black vinyl paint my best bet?
Thanks in advance for the advice!
