I normally say comic version because too many times the director and costume designers will change a costume too much, but with Phantom they really stayed close. If I were to do it, I would do both.
I would like to see either version, but I think the film version would be a bigger challenge. I'm holding out for a Cast-A-Way 1/6 Tom Tyler version of the Phantom, but until then I'm using my Captain Action in Phantom gear as a place holder.
Thanks for everyones vote, keep sending them.If I decide to do the movie version there would be 2 problems.First getting the guns and holsters(I missed out on the Cast-A-Way ones)and the other would be getting the skull pattern on the material but I'll figure it out after I get everyones vote.If you have any suggestions about what I mentioned about the problems chime in about that too.Keep on voting.
I'd go movie, as others have said, Dave and Jason nailed the comic Phantom. Billy Zane has a very generic handsome face, so that part shouldn't be too hard to come by. The skull imprint on the suit though...it would probably have to be achieved via some darker purple printing/painting/dye sublimation.
