Screen accurate or comic book accurate

I plan on doing a Phantom 8" and 12" figure in the future and I'm not sure what version that I should do.Below is the screen version as played by Billy Zane and below that one is the comic book version. The only difference are the trunks.Which one do you think that I should do?Please chime in with your opinion and the one with the most votes is the one that I'll do in both a 8 & 12 inch figure(I like both, that's why I'm asking everyboidys opinion).

I'm usually happy when they end up looking somewhat close to the character. ;-)

I think it will be too cool to see a Billy Zane version. Castaway really nailed the comic book look. I think the movie version would be a cool challenge.

Do The Billy Zane costume...that was a badass version of the costume, the skull was silk screened on to it giving it a really awesome look......and I agree Castaway already nailed the comic version.

Do both, and make extras to sell to people like me who have no customizing ability whatsoever.

I'd also love to have a Julie Walker figure.

Like MIB41 said, Castaway pretty much nailed the 8" comics Phantom: Including purple, olive, grey, & red variants. A Swedish blue variant would be awesome.

I lean towards comic accurate myself, but since Castaway nailed the Phantom right out of the gate, and if you already have one, go for the movie version.

No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

I'm such a true to the comic fan. Something about a 'Swedish blue comic variant' sounded so sweet to me.
