I'm not much of a customizer but 2 thoughts occurred to me:
1. Why not cut the fists off the gloves and slip them over DMH body hands? Just paint hands a matching blue color. Are the gloves rubbery material stretchable enough to get them over the hands?
2. Snip off the fists from those gloves and fill them with some material to make them more solid. Then cast them with a nub/stump extending from the wrist area so you can drill out a hole and they can be mounted on the forearms as if they were meant to be there.
