Customizers: Do you sketch ?

I do it all the time. Sketch the picture, scan it with a scanner, enhance the black and white with a paint program, make it in a bmp and then eventually add color.
This is kind of a junky one I did...I'll finish it one day. I got an idea.



I now do tons of illistrations for covers in local news rags and I make my own personal comics, make comics, sell them at State Street. A lot of it is just for fun and reading. I don't make **** doing it. If interested in seeing anything of that just PM me.
I work with three other of my friends that started out roll playing and when we realized as we got older we could bang our heads together and write the stories down for fun, it got more real. We do about three titles.

I won't post the pictures of my cartoons since this thread isn't about cartoons but if curious. I don't really consider myself a real cartoonist. I can't close my eyes and draw something from my head. I have to almost look at someone else's work and then draw muscles, body sizes, frames, heads...etc. So I don't really think of myself as a pro in that way but I do have hundreds of characters and have been keeping a lot of people excited with ideas that originally started out as innocent roll playing that turned into extra free time writing.

I draw sometimes for fun, but for designing customs I usually just wing it. If I planned out too far in advance I don't think I would be surprised and it wouldn't be as much fun.

I used to get that way with sculpture.
