I have the head of an action figure that I'd like to be able to place on a MEGO body.. The head itself was popped off the body, so it has no type of neck plug and since the back of the head was sitting on the figure's shoulders, the back of the head has a slight slant to it which would need some type of clay added to it so the head is shaped evenly all around...
I know some people use Sculpey for doing things like this, but since Sculpey needs to be heated up, that would cause the head I want to use to melt...
I'm guessing there must be some type of modeling compound that'd stick to a plastic head (at least until the head is modified to MEGO style and can then be molded)... I'd rather not go the mail-order route with anything like this because I don't want to have to pay extra shipping if I could just buy somthing locally... Can anyone recommend anything like this (that has a fair amount of working time to it) that might be available at Michael's, Jo-Anne's, or Hobby Lobby? Or even any type of material that could be found at a home improvement type store?
