That's pretty sad, especially from someone who complained about a lack of kindness because of a simple comment regarding his customs.

Who's "they"? Where did you get that "statistic"? This statement really makes no sense.

It is not the fault of the SPCA or any other animal shelter that sometimes animals have to be put to sleep. Because people fail to spay/neuter their pets, or take responsibility for their animals, choosing instead to dump them at the local humane society. While I do my best to support no-kill shelters, euthanization is a sad reality, due to overcrowding. Because of the ignorance of people, some animals simply cannot be saved.
If this was your attempt at humor, it was severely misguided.
