a custom Wolverine to benefit P.E.T.A

OK I set up an auction for a custom wolverine I made.
I set it up so that the money (95% of it minus fee and shipping) goes to P.E.T.A.

I did this in response to that sould sucking degenrate Mike Vick.. the sick *******.

I have two dogs of my own and I think what he is is sickening. My other protest is a abn on watching football. Not that big of a deal since I really don't like what I see of these players. It's becoming more of who's who on the most wanted list these days.

Anyway, if you feel the same and you dig the figure please go bid.

    Thanks
    Rob

        Hey,
Love the sentiment, but could you donate it to a different organization other that PETA? Trust me, as a veterinarian, I can assure you that there are other organizations that really do care about the animals instead of using them to promote an agenda.
Sorry to get pseudo-political, but, like I said, past experiences have taught me to warn people against PETA whenever I can.

^^^ Gotta agree with Chris. The Humane Society or other local animal shelters would be a better recipient of your donation.

I aslo agree with this. SPCA or a local rescue would be the way to go, for me anyway.

            Cool figure and thought!

Dude that's a very cool thing to do

But I'd also go with The Humane Society, they'd be a great one.
I have a couple friends that work real close with them. In fact one time they had to go into a place not far from me and save about half a dozen horses that were supposed to have been in some sort of P.E.T.A. care facility, but I guess PETA members were too busy tossing red paint on people with leather shoes to feed the horses

                  Rob,
How did you go about setting that auction up? Does eBay have templates for this sort of thing?
I wanted to do something like this with my Fighting American figure. An auction with monies going to the families of service men/women.
                  Hey! Check out the pictures.

                    i say

i say send a hallmark card, and keep the money!or how about children with cancer, aids??How about going to homeless shelter and actually handing stuff directly to people? They say in most states these charities only have to give 10% to charity, did you know that??I would get food and bring to spca ,that way you know for sure the kitties will get fat, right before the gas them!

Hey Roman thats a really nice thing your doing. Though I have to agree with everyone else, donate the money to your local A.S.P.C.A., or Humane Society.
P.E.T.A. is a great idea that has been wrongly executed. Perhaps if it was not run by smug rich people who get driven around in Humvees it might be a better organization!
I was gonna do a sculpture of Mike Dick, er, Vick getting chewed up by some pitbulls and put it on eBay, but after talking with my lawyer she said it would probaly not be a good idea!

I don't know anything about PETA but I can't believe this auction didn't even get one bid... it's a nice figure, and I think it's a lovely gesture.

If you are concerned about them getting gassed, only give to no kill shelters. If you are just trying to be funny, try harder. We do only give goods to our local shelters and adopt animals from them instead of pet stores or puppy farms.
