    A real tough one ...

    Hello everyone;
    I plan on trying a tough one, with serious mods.

    Zaphod Beeblebrox, as the Green Lantern.

    Here's the drawing that I did of it:

    I'm new to this kind of moding ... can someone please suggest a good spot to get base parts, please?

    Hmmmm....

    Two heads are gonna be tricky, so is the extra arm. You might have to get a resin torso and doctor it up.

      Hello Don;
      Can you recommend a good place to get such a thing from?

      Thanks;

          The heads should be centered, and there are 3 arms.

            ....uh.... not at the moment. I have a four armed torso in the works, and someone didm a good one cutting an extra armhole in a Mego torso.... but the head would take some extra work.

            There's a two headed He-Man character; maybe one of those torso's could be doctored up and used?

              Don;
              Thank you for the suggestion, Two-Bad's a bit burly for what I had in mind.

              Though, a bit too beefy, may be easier to deal with, then my other options.

              Need to get my hands on one.

              Next step. I need to find someone to sew the Green Lantern costume for me.

              Thank you,
              -Z

                There was a classic version of that HeMan character that might be more Mego compatible.

                      Zaphod Beeblebrox is from "The Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy"...

                          It's not impossible; not by a long shot, but it'll take a lot of work. I'm working on a 4 armed torso right now. It's slow going 'cos of my limited sculpting skills, but I got the mathematics figgered out. The extra head is tricky too; but a torso COULD be sculpted with two neck plugs. But then you gotta make the mold, run the part, Dremel them out....

                          A lot of work, but doable.

                            Zaphod Beeblebrox from "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy", is a fictional character created by Douglas Adams. First in Radio, then novel, then in movies, and somewhere a graphic novel. Wikipedia entry here.

                            He owns a pair of peril sensitive sunglasses, that technically make him fearless; when wearing them. So, I took the comical notion that he was wearing them, and at that time was chosen to join the G.L. Corp. He is in actuality not worthy of the Corp, as he's really ... well ... cowardly is a little strong, but close.

                            I highly recommend the original novel, not the new Disney version (book or movie). Not only is it quite humorous, but it makes Zaphod as the Green Lantern all the funnier.

                              The math on an odd number of limbs will be a joy. Perhaps the two right arms to the left leg.
