How long are you a "New Member"?

I've been trying to lurk less and post more, but I'm still a "new member". Does your status change after awhile or does somebody have to manually change it?

Hello and welcome to the Museum. Glad to see that you wish to post more and lurk less. If I remember correctly (it has been a little while now) you should have the ability to change your "new member" status after so many post counts. I cannot remember the exact number right now. This can be achieved by clicking on the quick links option in the bar at the upper part of your screen. A list of additional options will be shown. Then click on edit profile. Here providing that you have reached the appropriate post count you will have the option of "Custom User Title". Just type in the name that you wish (so long as you keep it appropriate of course).
