I am not familiar with El Amuleto De Sangre, but it really looks cool and honestly, I wouldn’t mind picking up the girl figure, she might look neat with some of my custom Star Trek figure’s.

I think this El Amuleto de Sangre set looks great! As I noted in a prior thread about it here in these forums, these figures, the title of the set, and their card art remind me very much of the b-grade Mexican monster films I was first exposed to 40 years ago (via Mexican TV broadcast from Tijuana) when my family moved to San Diego, California. (Which is interesting because in his explanation about the inspiration for these figures, Jason from White Elephant Toyz said that they were actually inspired by the Hammer mummy films.)

As a result, despite it still being summertime, I was spurred today to pull out my modern Mego flocked werewolf and put it with my Atomic Apemen (and other White Elephant Toyz) figures. I plan to pair it ultimately in a Halloween display with the 'amulet princess' from this set as a blended homage to two of my personal favorites of this subgenre of film: (1) the Americanized classic re-titled for American audiences The Robot vs. the Aztec Mummy, and (2) Santo y Blue Demon contra los Monstruos. (Very loosely translated/explained as, " Famous Mexican wrestlers the Saint and Blue Demon fight [our generic versions of] the classic Universal Monsters.")

I like parts of this. The SF Rima dress makes this look like a Mexican Horror Blood Mummy & Aztec Priestess.

The headgear could be reworked into a Egyptian Bastet Priestess. The Blood Mummy does look great so I may have to get one to add to my Mummy collection.

I really dig this and this is probably the first female character in a while that I think looks really cool. That said, I really only want the mummy and it seems like that's not an option as a single. Blargh.

            It's a wonderful set.

I've a copy of the WE Mummy head, and it's terrific. Mego should be envious.

            Yvonne here looks fantastic.
