NECA and Mego

Can someone tell me how 8” NECA figures mix with Megos?
If there is a thread on this, a link will be fine.

Also how do the bodies compare to Type S?
Are their bodies suitable for customs? Could the heads go on Type S bodies?

They don't really mix with Mego's since they are higher detailed figures.

The NECA bodies are good,but they are much different than an S-type and slighter smaller. S-type still is the better body

The Bodies are suitable for Heads that receive a ball joint. Neca heads will not go on any Mego or S-type body as Neca heads use a ball joint to connect.

Nah! NECA & Mego aren't compatible at all... Not even compatible with other Mego Like bodies (Type S, EMCE or FTC). Heads with neck plugs won't fit the NECA bodies and the NECA heads won't fit Mego Like bodies. Add to the equation that almost all of the NECA bodies have molded boots/shoes and that pretty much ruins the customizing fun you have in a Mego or Mego Like figure. NECA is not really Mego like to me.

I’m going to have to get some of these Type S bodies to see what the deal is. Too bad they can’t help me fix the hollow boots on the Trek Emces. I don’t guess anyone makes male Trek boots for Megos...?
