NECA goes...Mego?!

There is is no New DC stuff from Mego since 2024. I did'nt like Neca either but than I picked up 89 Batman and Catwoman and it changed my mind . Adam West and Chris Reeves figures don't look angry to me and in fact I might pick those up.

Agreed; the facial expressions on Chris Reeves and Adam West look good, but the other NECA Supes and the GL have horrid faces. Will just stick with my MEGO Hal Jordan GL.

At this point, i’m only possibly interested interested in the NECA Reeves and Catwoman. What do you think of Catwoman? How does she look besides your MEGO figures?

I really like Catwoman in hand but it's up to the collector if they like these type of figures . With Neca doing DC comic versions now I ordered Green Lantern and Classic Superman to try them out . Many times PICS decide if I buy something but these seem better in hand . I am hoping Flash and Reverse Flash are next of the comic versions. Reeves and West are on my
maybe list . I don't like the SDCC 2026 Batman Black and Grey it has a Alex Ross type face hoping for Comic Blue ,Grey with Neil Adams type of face

Thanks! i am really hoping for a 70s blue and grey Batman as well! I think we’ll get one as every company seems to produce as many Batman figures as they can.

Will need to go to my Wallmart and have a look see to what is available here in canada. Dont know if the Catwoman is out here? That is one I would be interested in.

With the glossy black deco, tall ears and furrowed forehead it's only superficially like an Alex Ross head (whos batman has a much fuller jaw and visible pupils). But it's more of a Simon Bisley styled head that they seemd to have backdoored from Berni Wrightson's work on the batman vs aliens book. Also here is Dermot Power's (a 90s Bisley clone) Kenner card art which really matches up to that Neca head in its original 7 inch version. The temporal spines (for lack of a better term) coming out from the arched eyebrows is the giveaway. Thats a Bisley trademark that isn't in Ross' or Wrightson's version.
