I'm not too interested in this scale, but I'm backing the project because I love ZICA!
Good luck! Hope you do more 8" stuff in the future.

Thanks guys, much appreciated! I'll definitely being doing more 8" stuff in the future, especially since I'm partnered up with the company that's doing Eagle Force later in the year. We're starting off with the 4" figures but ideas for 8" and 12" figure lines have been tossed around.
The New Adventure People Kickstarter has been relaunched!
That went up really fast.
Out of curiosity what was it that caused such a drastic drop in the amount needed to fund the project? I know you said you were going with a different factory but will does that mean exactly?

The original factory I was planning to use is the same one that produced the Six Million Dollar Man figures for me. They do great work, but their tooling costs, unit costs and MOQ numbers are pretty high. Another company I'm partnered with just recently had a project completed by a factory they decided to roll the dice on, and they hit the jackpot. The quality of the product was extremely good and the production costs were much lower than my old factory. I wanted to take advantage of this with the Kickstarter which is why I relaunched it with the better numbers.

Sounds like a win win to me.
Not sure if you noticed but BBTS re-listed the figures but the All-in set of 7 pre-order is "sold-out" Are they only accepting a certain number of those orders? Also When will BBTS add their funds to the Campaign?

Yeah, I know that BBTS has them relisted. I asked them to mark the 7 figure set as "sold out" so that people would have to pledge for it on the Kickstarter and hopefully drive the funding goal up faster. No, they haven't added their funds to the campaign yet. I've asked them to do that about a week before the Kickstarter ends.
I just pledged $200. Over half-way to being funded. And while I don't normally collect this scale, I want to support Zica. I've bought all their stuff. Looking forward to the 8" and 12" offerings.
