These are awesome Craig. Let's just do all future 3 3/4" lines in this format! Lol ... I love the SMDM line as it is too, but maybe more people would be receptive to more articulated figures. I'd love to see V, Buck Rogers and Battlestar Galactica follow this Captain Action format. Oh and Flash Gordon too.

Thanks Jason! There's a very good chance that Action Jackson will be done in this scale and style, so what you've suggested might be a possibility.

There's a 12" Artic CA that'd be an easy repaint.

Here's the first teaser image of the digital sculpt for Captain Action. The design I decided to go with is basically the same as 80's vintage G.I. Joes but with modern articulation features thrown in the mix. The arms swivel above the bicep/triceps section, the elbows and knees are double jointed and the hands can turn.

Craig, any updates on this project or an ETA on when we might see the first images (renders or protos)?

I know you've got a lot on your plate with CA and SMDM series 2 all in development right now. I'm just really excited about the prospects of this line!

Assuming preorders are where they need to be the SMDM Wave 2 figures will be released first. Yes, a 3.75" Action Jackson line is being considered.
