Depending upon the length of the stylized hair, it could go either way.

Offering the rooted hair head with different color options has always been the plan, that hasn't changed. Molded hair would be used for certain styles and shorter lengths which wouldn't affect the head movement that much, if at all.

I don't have an issue with shorter style molded hair on heads. Apart from when it makes a head look massive in comparison to the body.
