With the right 3d printer, you can print Zica bodies with heads that are fully functional straight out of the machine. No assembly required. They can make a bunch at once in the same machine. It is supposed to be cheaper for smaller runs of items than making molds and doing the injection method in China.

The heads can be printed with hair plug holes already in them. There is a wide variety of materials that can be printed with. Eventually the hair will be able to be printed on the head, but not currently. At that point the clothes will also probably be able to be printed on the figure.
