Craig, I realize you can't talk numbers, but doesn't Gil still buy many cases of figures from you? I assumed with as much touring as he does going from con to cons that selling those figures with his autograph sold like hotcakes.

Gil really hasn't bought many cases but at the end of this he might buy all of the Buck figures.

Wow, I just read all this, what a bummer, whats the least U would have to make? The Twilight zone, only seems to be a 1000 +. Whats next in the pipe line, is the Logans run still on?

All I can say is that the MOQ from my old factory and my new factory is more than 1000. Go Hero might attempt doing the Adam West and Logan's Run figures but nothing as been discussed lately. After seeing how poorly the Buck Rogers sales were I decided not to take on those two properties.

Right now I'm focusing all of my resources on getting the female body produced so that's pretty much the only thing that's in the pipe line, at least the only thing that I can talk about.

Would you have sold more at 19.99 a piece like you did later, rather than origionally offering them at 29.99 each ? Was that even possible given your factory and licensing costs ?

.... what about Hawk then ? Is he still a go ?

I could see West being somewhat popular, given who he is. Logans Run, Not so much. I know it's gotta fan base .... but imo the sales would be worse than The statement about Buck Figures.

I'm sure I could have sold more at $19.99 but the SRP has to be $29.99 for me to get the right profit margins at both wholesale and retail.

Unless another company takes over production the remaining three figures, Hawk, Kane and the Draconian Guard will not be made.

Sad news, IMO Buck and Tigerman were the best 8 inch action figures that have ever been produced.

If I remember correctly, there were 5000 Flattworld Bela Logosi made and 1500 were purchased by a distributer in Japan. 3500 came to the US. When the sales slowed I know they were talking to the Home Shopping Network to sell all the remaining cases. I don't remember why it didn't work out, but it's a thought.

Craig, your figures are so outstanding, Don't you think it will just be a matter of time before they all sell? I don't remember when they were first available, but it doesn't seem like it was that long ago.

Thanks for the compliment Mike but it seems as though sales have dropped off rather significantly. I feel like they'll do better the closer it get's to Christmas but probably not enough to warrant making the other characters.

Too bad a bout Adam West, he probably would have sold better than Buck( I know I would have got one, I skipped Buck as it has no appeal to me). Passing on Logan's Run since it wasn't movie based is a good move.

This is really depressing. These figures are beautiful, detailed, and extremely high quality.

                            I don't get it.

Craig, its worthy of note that non of the figures ever made it to retail here in the UK. EMCE/BIF Bang Pow/ CTVT all made it (via Diamond?) to stores and sold quite well. Was there a reason they never made it here? You missed a decent sized market.

They've been in the Previews catalog twice here in the US so I'm not sure why the weren't available in the UK via Diamond. Maybe next time you're in one of the stores you could ask who their distributor is for the EMCE/Bif Bang Pow merchandise. It's possible that their distributor is Entertainment Earth who unfortunately chose not to carry the Buck Rogers figures.
