I think I'll wait for the male version 1.5 to come out before I start ordering more.

      Or is it 2.0?

Either way, he's gonna need a name.

      How about....oh, I dunno....Frank?

I can't wait; besides, I'm in the UK so can't bulk buy due to customs charges

        I suggest Rock.

          Aw geez! That's terrible!!

Whenever I hear the name Rock, I think Rock Hudson.

Soooooo, I think we will come up with our own names for the guy, rather than spark a huge debate.

Don't worry about it, I'm not offended, and I'm the one that suggested it! LOL!

The name is just for the sake of the packaging, in any case. I think everyone that is buying her will give her a name of her own, once she becomes what they intend; whether it's Spider Woman; Vampirella; Xena Warrior Princess; Wonder Woman, etc.

                Eek, sorry!

                How to make friends, not!

I want a few of the female bodies: two to become Wilma and Ardala to accompany my Buck and Tiger Man figures.

Can't wait to get my hands on Yvonne, and whatever her male counterpart will be called

That's okay; you weren't a member back when we first named her, so it's no problem.

Thanks! I have all the tact and delicacy of a nuclear explosion lol

I'm loving the fact that ZICA are doing 1/6 scale quality figures in 1/9 scale, but also the fact that they're more realistic than the retro Megoalikes.

I'm not knocking those, I just think that what ZICA is doing may well expand interest in this scale

Oh it will definitely expand it, as long as people are interested in it.

And if they're not, well....somehow they will have to gain that interest.

It's too bad that stuff like this isn't hawked in commercials anymore. I remember when during the Christmas season you'd get ads for Barbie, G.I. Joe, Mego, Hasbro, etc.

                      Nowadays? Pfffttt!!! Nada.

Besides these figures are more for adults than they are for kids, and that's who the main target of the companies was back then.

I can't help but think of the Hot Toys type figures that many collectors want, but can't afford to buy.

Maybe ZICA would start to plug a gap there: give collectors with leaner wallets the chance to buy collectables in a smaller scale but with a similar level of detail as a good 1/6 figure.

And no, kids don't seem to want Mego-type figures any more. Pity.

                          I know.

Even Barbie isn't as popular as she used to be, and believe me, Mattel is trying their hardest to keep her popular.

                          Their worst concept? Metrosexual Ken.

I kid you not, they actually made one and marketed it.

The backlash was so bad, they had to yank it within a month I think. Or maybe two, it was a while ago.

The one thing I like about Craig's stuff is its affordability. His first headless figure was only about ten bucks in a cardboard box, and it was great.

Even the Buck Rogers figures were no more than thirty dollars, or a little more.

Twenty five dollars for a figure of this quality, compared to forty to sixty for a comparable 1:6 figure is not only a bargain, it's a steal!

She's definitely going to be selling at the next MegoMeet.

Hey Craig! You ARE going to the MegoMeet next year to hawk this little beauty, aren't you?

If things aren't too crazy for me around that time I'll definitely be there.
