    Nope, it's these categories:

These diverse offerings will include various product types, such as license plate frames, car flags, jack-in-the-boxes, tin windup toys, and wooden figures from Bif Bang Pow!.

Tin wind-ups sound cool...I loved the Universal Monsters and POTA ones made by Robot House back in the 90's.

That link takes you to a page showing the BBP range of licenses, including Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek.

Could BBP do retro 3 3/4" figures for Galactica as they did for Flash Gordon? I have also heard rumors that Star Trek was a poor seller for Funko's ReAction figure line, no doubt due to the issues with the sculpts, and they are dropping Trek from their round up. I wonder... could BBP pick up where Funko left off?

I would hope BBP would just do their own thing with the license. Those Funko Trek figures were horrible, in my opinion.

I'd love to see some Pocket Hero-like Marvel figures from BBP, but I'm betting Hasbro has that sewn up...they just won't do it.

I liked the Funko Star Trek figures. I thought they were fun. I hate that we will most likely not get a Chekov though. Such a waste to get non-crew members without getting the whole crew.

That said, if BBP wanted to revisit the license and scale, I would definitely have interest.

I can both defend them, and critique them. They had shortcomings in trying to do the Retro-Tightrope-Walk between accuracy and vintage feel. But I agree with TRDouble... it's a shame no Chekov. Once out of the package, those figures were just plain fun to play with. Shove Kirk and McCoy into the Landspeeder and have at it.

Hmmm... Hallmark has made ornaments of all of the 7 major TOS crewmembers but Chekov also. It's a conspiracy!!!

I wanted to love the Funko Trek but I just couldn`t. They sat unopened for weeks on my desk, now i don`t even know where they are.

Funko made too many weird inconsistent fumbles with the line.

We've thought about both licenses. BSG is tough because of the tremendous costs and quite frankly not a large demand. Star Trek - the demand is there but we would probably need to wait a year or two past the Funko versions before we take this on.

Thanks, BBP! Glad you're still in the 8" game! I have BBP 8" Dr Who and Leela almost all Six Million Dollar Man, and Battlestar Galactica Series 1 and 2! Brought back the 70s scifi kid in me!

Will new BBP 8" be at Toy Fair?
